What's in a name?
In this case, much can be deduced.
Are you an optimist? A pessimist?
Do you believe in the future? For that matter, do you believe in the present?
The human civilization is at the cusp of a step into evolution.
Whether or not you have faith in evolution is of no consequence.
When human and the intrinsically safe combine into one, there will no longer be doubt.

So what of said title?
Is it alluding to the demise of the cybernetic organism by simply unplugging him or her?
Will humans advance to a time when life and death is determined by who is plugged in?
Maybe the point is not this at all.
Maybe the new revolution begins with the unplugging.
When the first evolved hybrid is set free, unshackled by external forces.
